ABOUT US

Mike Hudak and Adam Knipfer in a brazilian jiu jitsu gi

OUR HISTORY

Tackle Jiu Jitsu's owners, Mike Hudak (left) and Adam Knipfer (right), have two decades of grappling experience between them. Mike and Adam have been training, competing, and coaching together for over 8 years.

Brazilian jiu jitsu has had a consistent and beneficial impact on their lives. Tackle was started to build on these positive experiences and provide an environment for Tackle's members to grow on and off the mat.

We look forward to having you on our team. We'll be in your corner.

Dedication to our members

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe that everyone has a place on the mat. Whether you are a hobbyist just starting out or an active competitor, you will receive the same level of attention and instruction.

From the day you walk into Tackle, you will be welcomed by a community that is built on respect and trust. We make a promise to everyone of our members that our gym will always be a place they can escape to.

At Tackle Jiu Jitsu, we're dedicated to helping you embrace the art, master the techniques, and achieve your goals.

Located in Parma, Ohio, our 2,400 sqft. facility has everything that you would ever need to succeed. We have 800 sqft. of mat space with private changing areas.

Our facility is regularly maintained with a high standard for quality. The mats are cleaned after each training session and flip-flops or sandals must be worn whenever members are off the mat.
